Tracks from Opportunity's driving test

NASA took the Opportunity rover out for a test drive on Sol 12. Here are the tracks looking back towards the lander. The pictures were taken with the rear hazard avoidance cameras which have a very wide field of view that accounts for the fish-eye distortion.

Use the leftmost two images for cross-eyed viewing, or the rightmost two for parallel-eyed viewing. You can use the zoom buttons to adjust the size and spacing to work best for you on your monitor. Or you can view a red-cyan anaglyph by clicking on the anaglyphic thumbnail to the right.
