Spherule close-up

Here's a close view taken by Opportunity's microscopic imager on sol 39 of one of the spherules hanging from the rock outcrop. That instrument has a narrow depth of field, and the spherule could be in better focus, but as of now this is the best pair from this sol as far as stereo is concerned. I'm watching NASA's site for better images than these.

The viewports below will pan in the direction shown by the arrows beneath them when you place the mouse over the arrows. Use the leftmost pair for cross-eyed, rightmost for parallel-eyed.
